How Juice Works
Juice is a javascript framework based on the jQuery javascript library. Its core concepts are Extensions, Inserts and Panels, and Metadefs. A Juice Extension provides additional content for embedding on a html page (links, images, maps, widgets etc.). Inserts and Panels are containers for Juice extensions to output their content in to a specific part of the page. A Metadef is a named selector for specific information within a page to be used by Juice extensions.
